Lisa Knevitt has been with Cook Medical since 2007 and has wealth of experience in corporate travel, event management, and marketing, along with a commitment to ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all Cook travellers. As the Director Travel and Events - Asia Pacific (APAC) Lisa leads a multinational team based in Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. Her team provides the travel and event services for Cook across 10 countries, facilitating the opportunity for people to collaborate effectively across the region. Lisa has the experience, connections and vision to lead her team through any event project from concept to completion. In 2013 Lisa played an integral role as the Lead Project Manager for Cook’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. With core skills in logistics and operations, Lisa executed five successful events across five countries, totalling over 1400 people and 15 nationalities. Following this Lisa managed Cook’s Tri-Annual APAC Sales Meeting which included a five day conference, activity and event program with up to 1000 attendees. The project required effective relationship management with external suppliers and internal customer. Her attention to detail enriched the experience and reduced overall costs. Lisa responds quickly to challenges with positive energy and solutions and key to her success are the extensive systems and processes she has established including a preferred supplier program, the development of the Asia Pacific Travel Policy, and the creation and implementation of an efficient travel & event booking services. Prior to her appointment at Cook Medical, Lisa held positions in hotel sales and operations and destination management managing high end inbound incentive programs for blue chip companies.
